This tutorial will help you using Hotmail from your Android device, this will allow you to read and send your emails wherever you are and from the comfort of your hand.
Hotmail in Android
The first thing you have to do is go to the Play Store on your Android, in the search bar type “Hotmail” you’ll find some apps, go to the “Microsoft Outlook” we will use this because it is the official app, you may prefer others but we recommend this in particular.
Download it (It may be a big download, so you should be connected to a Wi-Fi network), after download is ready open the app, you’ll find a menu that will tell you the main features of the app, such as priority mail box, how to attach files from your phone or OneDrive and using the calendar.
Then you have to add an account, at this point you can use multiple services. Hotmail, iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo! All of them are available to sign in or create a new account.
But we are using a Hotmail account, so we press the Hotmail/Outlook service, after this we will see the classic Hotmail page asking for your user name/Microsoft account and your password, fill the fields and press sign in.
It will show a request, Hotmail will ask your permission to synchronize your contacts, phone book and calendar, press yes.
And there you go! You can now use your hotmail account from your Android phone or tablet, you’ll be redirected to your inbox and there you’ll have access to drafts, trash, sent and all the Hotmail mobile features.
